Kenya: Two Councillor Ejected From Sugar Farm Meeting in Busia

A meeting called by the Busia District Commissioner Mwiandi Gitonga to resolve issues surrounding the controversial sale of a parcel of land belonging to the defunct Busia Sugar Company turned nasty yesterday when two councillors were forcefully ejected from the venue. Councillor Jack Wambulwa and of Walatsi ward and Josephat Wandera of Lugulu, were ordered out of the meeting by the DC when they demanded to address the gathering despite having not been invited.
